Gary (Papa) and Mindy, Dwayne, and Peyton arrived on Thursday. This allowed Terri to stay in a separate room for a night or two, allowing us to have some alone time with Addison. Peyton is helping Addy learn what it means to be a baby as well as giving us hope that life w/ a new one is more than eat/sleep/poop (though we're definitely having fun just watching Addison as she makes it through her first few weeks of life).
Uncle Cyril and Aunt Teri dropped by on Saturday morning and spent a lot of time holding Addison (and playing with Peyton).
Saturday afternoon arrived with Mimi, Steve, Jennifer, Haley, Hannah, and Paige about the same time Cyril and Teri made there way back to the normal world.
Altogether, life is going pretty good. Mom and Dad aren't getting quite enough sleep, but when Gary, Mindy, Dwayne, Peyton
, Mimi, Steve, Jennifer, Haley, Hannah, and Paige all left this morning, Grammy (Terri) stayed on with us to give us a break or two from time to time.

I sit here and look at these pictures and - yes, I cry. First I cry because I am so happy for you and second I cry because I can't get there to see Addy for myself. I will get there as soon as I can - I promise. I am so glad Cyril and Teri were so close and could go see her for themselves. Ha! They were sure excited that you were all in Kansas! Addy is absolutely beautiful!!! I can see nothing but happiness on your faces. And that is well deserved happiness. I get goose bumps just thinking about her and all that has gone on before. Thanks for sharing all this with pictures. Makes me feel much closer. Just know that my prayers are still with you.

I can hardly see the screen for the tears. I know you find that hard to believe. You know there are a lot of things I wish I had gotten from my mom.....crying easily is not one of them, but what can I do!!! I can not begin to explain how happy I am for you. There are no words. I know you feel it yourselves so you have a good idea. Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us. We are so proud of you guys and know that Addi will have a wonderful life!!!!

Ok... So I am a Russell!!! I did start to cry when I saw her pictures!! She is BEAUTIFUL!! I am so happy for you all. I have had all my friends pray for you and just so you know, they are happy for you too! Thanks for all of the pictures and all of the entries, I can't tell you what it means to me to come home and read or hear what mom has to say about your new family. I love you guys so much, give Addy a big kiss from her Vegas family!! (oh Mom said sorry she spelled her name wrong!)

We just heard the news! I cannot tell you what a joy it is to see you with your beautiful baby. She looks precious. We love you and thank God for this answer to prayers and tremendous blessing! We can't wait to meet her!
