Addison went for her first doctor visit this morning.
Before we took off, we did a little bit of relaxing in the sun. Addy was totally relaxed and cool as a cucumber. Grammy took lots of shots, and this is one of my favorites.

so...how many people does it take to keep a baby's thermometer in her arm pit? the answer, it seems, is 3. we ended up having to take a second try, but she checked out ok.

The doctor did some checking of the eyes, ears, etc... Addy is still a little jaundiced, but the sun time should help that, and the jaundice usually peaks around day 5 or so anyway (which is about where we are).

After we got back to the hotel, someone had a snack that appears to have resulted in a full belly. Didn't stop her from having another snack an hour and a half later. I think there's a reason that Addy is already almost back up to her birth weight (she's now 7.10...only one more ounce to go).

I live for these pictures!! HA! I have checked multiple times today and I get very frustrated when you guys haven't posted anything. What's the deal....it's not like you have anything else to do!!! :) :) I just can't get over how beautiful she is. Thank you again so much for continuing to send the pictures and keeping us up to date on her progress.

I checked every few minutes this morning, too, before I took Lorraine to lunch for the last time. I am so thrilled to find more pictures when I got home just now. Oh my - she is so beautiful!!You will never know how much it means to me for you to keep putting these pictures on your blog. It is nearly like a visit and I love them. Addy is so absolutely adoreable and precious besides being so beautiful. I am just so thrilled for you. Thanks again for sharing all this with us.

That last picture today looks like it would come in a frame from the store...I love it! You both look so happy, and I know everyone is happy for you!!! All of us will be checking for pictures compulsively, I'm sure, so keep them coming! Love you guys!

Sorry to sound like a broken record... but she is beautiful!!! and you three make a beautiful family! I'm so glad that you've been able to have so much family come to visit, surrounding you at this time, helping in the sleep rotation :) and celebrating with you! Nathan was pretty jaundiced too after he was born, but after plenty of liquids and lots of sunshine, he was doing great! God bless you guys!
