I went to the doctor today for bloodwork to check my estrogen levels. Theoretically, your estrogen level is about 200 for every mature egg you have. My eggs won't be mature yet, but they can watch this level rise as I use the stimulation medication to indicate how many eggs I have. They also don't want your estrogen level to get too high, because you can get hyperstimulated, which is dangerous and can land you in the hospital. My doctor just called and said everything looks very good. So, I get to continue my mediation at the same amounts. I am really glad about that, because the mediation really burns as it's being injected and I didn't want to add any more liquid to either of my two nighttime shots.
I will go back to the doctor Tuesday for more bloodwork and for my first ultrasound. I can't wait for the ultrasound, it will show how many follicles I have growing. They measure the follicles on the ultrasound. When the follicles reach a certain size, they are supposed to contain mature eggs. I am feeling some movement, and fullness so I know I have follicles growing.

This is so exciting!!!! Can hardly wait for the next news. I hate that you have to go through all this. Just know that I love you and continue to pray for you and Scott. I know this is not easy for him either. Just hang in there and know that we are all with you 100%.

What can I say....I love you guys and will be praying for you as you go through this process. I know it's not easy and it is amazing like Carol said. I appreciate your sharing all the information and for sharing your thoughts and feelings as well. It's good that you have a doc that you like. It sounds like things are going toward the positive so we'll keep those good thoughts going!!

I am glad that everything is going well. I will be praying about the upcoming ultrasound and for the folicles to continue to grow. I'm glad that we can support you and Scott through prayer if nothing else.
As you described feeling the follicles, I imagined you feeling your baby's first kick. I have faith that you will be blessed with that experience as well as welcoming your new little one(s) into the world!
