More Needles, More Drugs

I had more bloodwork today. This was supposed to be the last time until my pregnancy test, however, my estrogen level came back on the lower side of normal (and my doctor is an over-achiever) so he started me on estrogen pills, along with the estrogen patch and progesterone shots, and I will have to go back for more bloodwork on Friday. I am glad my doctor is over cautious though and wants to do everything possible in order for this to work.

Thanks again for all your prayers. Please keep them coming as we still have some waiting until we find out if we were successful.

You're in my prayers. It's good to hear your doctor seems to be doing everything possible, leaving no stone unturned. Now we'll just pray for a positive pregnancy test and an easy/peaceful wait until then. Love, Katie

I guess I'm glad your doctor is an "over-achiever". I know we sure don't want to be the ones who mess up his perfect score. We're continuing to pray constantly for this to work. I am finding myself very impatient to know, and I know that is nothing compared to what you two are going through. We love you a bunch. Hang in there! Love, Mimi

Needles and drugs aren't much fun, but....whatever it takes. I, too, like the fact that he is doing absolutely everything to achieve success!

Hang in there and know that you are loved and prayers are constantly being sent!

Just got home from Shari's and found your e-mail. I know you are going through so much and I know that at times it gets to be a real burden, but I know you are strong and can stand it. Thank goodness for this "over-achiever" Dr. Maybe he will be the answer to all our prayers. Just know that I love you and pray for you all the time. Give your "tummy" a loving pat for me. Ha!

I love you,
Grandma/GG

Just know that you have a big support team out here praying for you and the little ones. We are believing this to be God's will for you and that His hand is at work here. Easy for me to say, but have patience and it'll all be over before long.

I wish I could have all the needle pokes for you! I have so much more "cushion" to absorb it! (^_^)
Good that the Dr is over-achieving and cautious - I agree whole-heartedly! The waiting is hard - no doubt about it - just know we're all with you and holding you close! Lots of love!!! Hugs! Aunt Fran

Every so often I check focus on the family's website and read their latest articles. When I clicked on relationships and marriage today, the featured article was on infertility. This family's story brought tears to my eyes and made me think of you. I am continually thinking and praying for you right now. I can't imagine how hard this waiting must be. At least you have a new Harry Potter book to take your mind off the wait. Here's a link to the article I mentioned http://www.family.org/marriage/a000001025.cfm or just go to family.org.

The sermon this Sunday made me think about you and pray for you as he spoke about how when God begins something in our lives or gives us a desire, he never stops until that desire is fullfilled. Phillipians 1:6 ---being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. We believe God has His hand in this situation and He will see it to completion. Our prayers are with you still...
