Tonight Scott is working late, so I loaded Addy up in the car and off to Chick-fil-A we went to use Addy's free kids' meal coupon we got at VBS. I went through the drive through and ordered Addy's kid's meal and also ordered a meal for me. When I got up to the window I grabbed my purse out of the passenger seat and knew right away something was wrong (my purse was too light). So, I told the girl at the window: "I'm so sorry, but I left my wallet at home. I'll go get it and be back." As I was driving away, I heard someone say "Ma'am" I turned around and the manager was hanging his head out the window. He said: "Don't worry about it, dinner is on us." I was amazed and embarrassed. So, just another reason for loving Chick-fil-A. Everytime I go there, the staff is always so nice.
In other news, Addy has made lots of progress walking the past week. She is pretty much all over the house. I have started having to close doors because she wanders all over the house. It has been nice this past week, because I am now able to do my housework during the weekday. Addy just follows me around. She loves the vacuum. I think I'm going to have a good helper.

I can't help shedding a couple of tears watching Addy walk. She has the sweetest smile. It is such a big smile and her eyes just shine. She is so adorable!! I can imagine that she will be helping you before you know it. Or maybe messing up as you clean. One or the other. Ha! She is really walking so good! Give her hugs and kisses from me. Hope you guys can come see me sometime soon.

I meant to comment on your "Random Act of Kindness". Believe me, I will eat there every chance I get. What a great manager they have. You know, Benji worked for them for years and they put him through college. They really have a great program for their employees, managers, etc. He was a manager even after he got out of college. They were always so good to him he hated to quit them. Thanks for sharing your story.

I agree with Mom....that was so amazing for Chick-fil-A to do that. Doesn't happen very often any more so that was wonderful. If they had them in No.CA I'd definitely go there! It will have to wait til I'm back in OK though - which won't be very long!!

That's a great story about Chick-fil-A. We miss that restaurant. Addy's walking is too cute! I can just picture her helping you around the house. :) Kerensa loves to clean, and she must get that from being with grandma during the day. She likes putting clothes in the washer/dryer and helping wipe things down.
Your so lucky that she likes the vacuum mine were terrified of it. My mother said it was because they never saw it being used! Funny eh?

We love Chick-fil-A, too! They are always so nice and willing to help. If we pick fast food - it is there. Addy is doing so well! I am glad you have a little helper. The kids love to help with the laundry- vacuuming, not so much! :) but they do love to run from it :)
