Exciting New!!!!

Well, it's been a long while since we created this blog. But, we finally have some exciting news to post. We have been matched and are "expecting" a baby boy on March 22, 2007. Scott and I are so excited and cannot wait until the big day arrives.

We finally got THE CALL on November 18. We received a voicemail from our agency as we were on vacation in London. It was our last full day in London and it really made our already good trip perfect.

So far, everything seems to be moving along very smoothly. We had our first phone conference with our potential birthparents last Wednesday and we think it went really well. I have also been corresponding every day by email with our potential birthmother. I hope it is helping them to get a glimpse of how life with us will be.

Thank you everyone for your prayers about our adoption progress. Scott and I have really felt calm and at ease the last few months, and I know that is God working through all our prayers.

Please continue to pray for this situation that everything will work out for the best of this precious baby boy.

Great!!!!! :) Now Peyton can have a cousin to make black cats out of construction paper (and dimes) when they get older....oh wait, they probably won't live in the country....Scott, do you think it will work on hwy 290?
