Update and Posts Following
We are in the house. Moved in on Monday and are busy unpacking. When I get it a little more presentable I will take pictures and post those. Meanwhile, I have put 4 new posts in -- what we've been up to the last month or so. Once we get settled, I will try to keep up with the blog better.

Santa's Wonderland
A week ago we decided to pack up and drive an hour to visit a place just south of College Station, called Santa's Wonderland. They have built a little country town with some shops, a petting zoo, an outdoor movie theater, and a restaurant with live entertainment. They also have a huge light display (which I didn't take any pictures of -- too busy trying to get Addy's expressions). You can either drive-thru or take a hayride through the light display. We took the hayride and Addy had a blast. She was bouncing around and laughing and singing. She loved all the lights. When we got back to the "town" we visited Santa. This year Addy is afraid of Santa, but we actually were able to get a picture of her where she wasn't crying. (I'll scan a copy of post it when we get our scanner up and running.) They also had a "snow machine" (it blew soapy bubbles that looked like snow) in the town that would go off every couple of minutes. Addy loved standing underneath the machine and when it would go off she would put her arms up and yell "snow". We were a little hesitant to go this year thinking she might be too young, but she had a blast and we were so glad we went.
Addy's 1st Christmas Program
Addy's Mother's Day Out put on a Christmas program on Monday night. The kids got all dressed up in the Christmas clothes and put on skits and sang Christmas songs. They were all really cute. The 1 year old class pretty much just sat there like deer in the headlights (because of all the people and cameras looking at them), but they were adorable.

Christmas Baking
Mindy, Mom, the kids and I got together a couple weeks ago to start our Christmas baking. We made a gingerbread train, sugar cookies and rice krispie treats. The kids had a lot of fun decorating and using the cookie cutters. Addy got a little tired of it after a while, but for a 1 year old she did a really good job. She has become my little helper and loves to help in the kitchen. She loves to stand on the stool and help me or my mom do stuff on the counter, so she really loved cutting out the sugar cookies.
Also, it snowed in Houston that day. Yes, I did say snow. We couldn't believe it. It didn't stick, but it snowed nonetheless.

Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving this year, we all got together at my parents house. We had a really good time cooking, eating and hanging out. We even were able to play some cards (we haven't been able to do this in quite a while). After lunch, we ran around and played football on the golf course. All-in-all, we had a really good, relaxing Thanksgiving.
